TRIP INFO:
We took a trip to Seoul, South Korea on a budget of $20,000 in September of 2015. This is what we did: We took Delta flight 7850 to South Korea's Incheon International Airport. We left on September 5, 2015 at 12:20 in the afternoon. We then arrived in South Korea at 4:20 am on September 6, 2015. This was a nonstop flight to South Korea, and it took about 15 hours. This flight was $1,198 per person, and the price for all four of us was $4,792. We then picked up our rental car at 5 am. It was a Hyundai Avante compact car. We used this car for the 9 nights and 10 days we were staying in Seoul. On 9/15/15 we dropped off the car at 8 am. The total price was $376. We rented this car from www.kayak.com. This is the route we traveled once we arrived in the South Korea's Incheon International Airport. This route took us to our penthouse which is in South Korea's capital, Seoul.
This is a photo of the penthouse we were staying in while we were in Seoul. It costs us $2,799 in total-$311 per night(9 nights-10 days).
We took Delta flight 7851 back to Atlanta Georgia. We left South Korea's Incheon International airport on September 15, 2015 at 9:20 am. We then arrived in Atlanta Georgia on September 16, 2015 at 10 am. This was a nonstop flight to South Korea, and it took about 14 hours. The flight was $5,709 for all four of us.

WHAT WE DID:
9/6/15 On Day 1 we were exhausted from our over night flight. We were also still trying to get used to the time difference, so we decided to rest this day and just take it easy. While driving home from the airport, we stopped at a grocery store, and we bought food. The food we bought was mainly for breakfasts because we did not want to go out for breakfast while we were staying in Seoul. We also bought a few lunch and dinner meals just in case. We then slept most of the day, and then for dinner we decided to go out. 9/7/15 On Day 2 we ate breakfast in our penthouse, and then we still took it easy most of the day because we still were not used to the time change, but we did go out for lunch and dinner. 9/8/15 On Day 3 we decided to visit the Seoul Arts Center. This was no money, and it was an amazing way to spend the day. We bought lunch out, but we decided to eat dinner back at the penthouse. 9/9/15 On Day 4 we decided to visit Gangnam Station. We went to Samsung d- light. We just decided to walk around. While we were there we met future products at Samsung d-light, and experienced all of south Korea's culture. We ate breakfast, lunch, and dinner in our penthouse. 9/10/15 On Day 5 we decided to take another tour. We took a Korean Palace and Market Tour in Seoul including Insadong and Gyeongbokgung Palace. This tour was amazing and kept us busy all day. We learned a lot of information that we did not know, and the pictures we were able to take blew our minds. We had brought a sack lunch, and we decided to come back to the penthouse for dinner. 9/11/15 On Day 6 we decided to take another walk around Seoul, but this time we made a day out of it. We ate both lunch and dinner out. 9/12/15 On Day 7 we were signed up to take another tour. This tour took us to the Korean Demilitarized Zone(DMZ) and the Joint Security Area(JSA) in Panmunjom. This tour also took all day, so we decided to take another sack lunch. We then ate dinner back at our penthouse. 9/13/15 On Day 8 we took it easy. We went to Samseongdong where we shopped in the largest underground mall in Asia. We got a ton of souvenirs. We ate breakfast and lunch at our penthouse, and then after shopping we decided to go out for dinner. 9/14/15 On Day 9 we decided to take one last walk around Seoul because it was our last day. We stopped at a few of our favorite stores while we were there, and then we decided to eat lunch and dinner out one last time. 9/15/15 On Day 10 we woke up extra early, and we had breakfast at our penthouse. We packed up all of our stuff, and then we headed for the airport before 6 am. We then got checked in at the airport and got on our flight that took us back to Atlanta, Georgia. |

This tour also let us experience the border that divides North and South Korea. We also got to visit the Freedom Bridge and the 3rd Infiltration Tunnel. The 3rd Infiltration Tunnel is a series of four tunnels that the North Koreans dug so that they could launch a surprise attack.
